Here is a first attempt at collecting references on ocean waves ... I thank P. Janssen, I. Young, I. Lavrenov, D. Greenslade, L. Holthuijsen and W. McKee for their reference lists ... I've slowly started putting it all in the same format.  

This update now contains some direct html links to some papers and reports ... follow the links !
If you know of some urls where papers / reports are freely available on the web, please send them.

The bibliography now holds 2650 entries.

If you would like to contribute please send the Bibtex code in a .bib file with a separate text or latex file containing the proper heading under which the papers/reports/thesis should be listed (such as "wind wave generation theory" or "nonlinear Schrodinger equation").

Comments on the current bibliography are welcome (typos, improper classification ...)
